Help Us "Pack the Bus!"
The 10th annual Pack the Bus School Supply Drive will collect school supplies throughout the month of July to benefit students in need throughout Terrebonne, Lafourche, and Pointe Coupee Parishes. The drive is coordinated by Synergy Bank, United Way for South Louisiana, and H.O.P.E. Ministry of Pointe Coupee and supported by numerous local businesses and organizations.
The supplies collected in the Bayou Region will be distributed to schools in Terrebonne and Lafourche Parishes, while supplies collected in the Capital Region will be distributed to schools in Pointe Coupee Parish.
Thanks to the support of our generous communities, the Pack the Bus School Supply Drive has donated tens of thousands of school supplies to our local students over the years.
While all new school supply donations are appreciated, the most requested items include 24-pack of crayons, single subject spiral notebooks (college and wide ruled), pencils, 3-prong pocket folders, glue sticks, Pink Pearl erasers, pencil colors, Kleenex, paper towels, loose leaf paper (wide and college ruled), 1-inch binders, backpacks, and Expo markers. The drive also collects new and gently used belts and school uniforms.
