Synergy Bank Announces Senior Vice President and BSA Officer
Synergy Bank's board of directors recently named Rusty Bourg as Senior Vice President and Meghan Whitten as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer of Synergy Bank. The announcement was made by Jerry P. Ledet, Jr., Synergy Bank President and CEO.
Rusty Bourg was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has worked in various roles at Synergy Bank for 14 years. Rusty is a graduate of South Terrebonne High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Louisiana State University. He is a 2023 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and a 2024 graduate of Leadership Terrebonne. Rusty currently serves as Vice President of the Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence.
Meghan Whitten was promoted to BSA Officer. She has 15 years of banking experience, the last 11 of which has been at Synergy in various roles in the BSA Department. Meghan is a graduate of South Terrebonne High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Louisiana State University. She is a member of the South Terrebonne Gator Club, LSU Alumni Association, and Tiger Athletic Foundation, as well as involved in her children’s travel sports teams.
